ARE YOU READY FOR GROCERY?
For any person, it can be an overwhelming challenge to get distribution and listings within the grocery industry. If you are the “recipe person” or the manufacturer of a food product who does not have experience in packaging, food marketing or the grocery business in general, it is next to impossible to succeed unless you invest in getting some advice from someone who “has been there, done that, got the listing!”
Karen Hope has taken a food product to market and turned it into a national Canadian brand. From 1998- 2009, she was the co-founder and managing partner of Cattle Boyz Foods Ltd. She found a great product and used all of her business skills to get it listed on the shelves of major grocery chains like Costco, Safeway, Sobey's and Loblaw's. Her food marketing skills are now available to companies and individuals with the dream to see their product succeed in grocery.

Karen's 2 hour introduction and presentation was clear, interactive and answered my questions. Karen gave me an excellent starting point to move forward in several directions. I was able to dig in and make some concrete decisions instead of spinning my wheels or worse, not make any decisions.

I met with Karen to go over her power point Recipe to Brand Success. It was an interesting overview to go through the 5 steps to see if my business was market ready. I realized at the end of the seminar as we went over each of the 5 steps where I actually stood with marketing my nutritious snack bars. It was either do or die; do I stop now or continue to go full speed ahead. It is a great concept to putting it all into perspective of where one is to where one is heading and the steps to getting there. Karen is great as she leads me through the early stages of marketing my Freedom Bars. I will benefit greatly with Karen's guidance and direction.
